A workshop “practical, collaborative and participatory” is the Magda Arques (professor of Graphic Design) proposal, for this Saturday 19 October at 11am at IVAM CADA ALCOI.
This will be a two-and-a-half hour session in which the starting point is the new album that the group Júlia is preparing ‘Casa’ . From this concept will develop all the experience that will take shape over homemade objects and everyday elements that will serve as tools of creation.
The methodology proposed by Arques is conditional design, based on setting minimums with which to start playing and trying to provide a series of ideas and collective solutions. These are not alibied by the result, the really important thing is the whole process. The creations that arise will be included in the graph of the mentioned disc.
It should be noted that Magda Arques has been the winner, together with the former student of Graphic Design Sofia Hernández, of an Ovidi Montllor award to the Best Design for the work made on the previous Júlia’s 'Proxima B'.
