On Thursday, February the 1st, at 8 pm in the Llotja de Sant Jordi will be inaugurated the exhibition “Espais Avançats”, where some of the teachers of the Escola d’Art i Superior de Disseny d’Alcoi participate. This exposition will offer viewers a risky hypercreative interaction experience using different artistic media such as video art, painting, material installation, ephemeral architecture, as well as conceptual and digital art.
Each member makes a specific work proposal for this exhibition which moves within the limits of artistic languages, proposing an interaction of contemporary art that encompasses different aspects such as architecture or design.
The artists who conduct it are: Rafa Calbo, Magda Arques, Jaume Pérez, Angel Perez, Eduard Corbí and the tandems formed, on the one hand by Almudena Vidal and Laura Pons and, on the other hand, by Pedro Miralles and Cristina Caro.
“Espais Avançats” can be visited from February the 1st to March the 31th in the Llotja de Sant Jordi, from Tuesday to Saturday from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm and from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm; Sundays and holidays from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The Llotja de Sant Jordi, the City Council of Alcoi, the Sabadell Foundation and the Antoni Miró Chair collaborate in this exhibition.
