Last week Diego Vainesman was at the Escola d’Art i Superior of Disseny d’Alcoi where he gave a logo workshop, and he also gave a talk which motivated all the attendees.
The workshop lasted three days in which Vainesman proposed to the participating students, organized in groups of 4 or 5 people, the realization of the logo for the Olympics of 2024. Each group was assigned a city, from which they had to create the logo, taking into account the characteristics of it, as well as the Olympic spirit inherent to this event.
The first day the sketches were worked in one ink, with a subsequent presentation that received recommendations from Vainesman, as well as the rest of the participating students. The next day the work was focused on the digitalization of the proposed logo and the last day the students gave color to it, besides both days they were guided by the designer. On the part of the participating students, they consider that this workshop has been a very good experience for them.
Finally on Friday, the presentation took place in the auditorium of the EASDAlcoi, in which Vainesman spoke about the lateral thought in his presentation: “Del polvo a la nuve”. About this talk the assistant students highlighted the close nature of the speaker, who managed to motivate them through a presentation in which he demonstrated his communication skills.
