From the management of the EASDAlcoi, the Product Design department was considered to students design a recycling system to implement it and improve this process within the School classrooms and facilities.
Of all the proposals submitted, the management team has selected two so that anyone who wants to vote the one they like the most, can do it on School’s instagram during this Wednesday, December 4th. On day 5th we will announce what was the most voted project.

BLURRY BIN
The Blurry Bin proposal is easy to use and simplifies the emptying, as well as reducing the use of plastic bags. The size of each container adapts to the needs of the different types of waste (paper, plastic, metal, glass and mix) according to the volume and the amount in which they are generated. To this end, a previous study of its consumption at the School has been made. This makes it easier for the people in charge of cleaning the center. Blurry Bin would be located inside classrooms and the translucent used material, allowing the quantities and silhouettes of the trash to be seen. This makes something that is normally hiding into something artistic, visible and natural within its environment.
SURO CONTAINER
Suro Container is a design that does not make use of plastic materials, being stackable and easy to store due to the modular shape of the housing and the cork material of the bag. The design is designed to occupy as little space as possible, so it is anchored to the wall, in this way does not hinder the circulation space within the class. On the other hand, the classic identification of colors is replaced by a series of attractive and concrete symbols, cut into the metal structure. It also has a drainage system at the bottom which facilitates this action, preventing the waste from being scattered outside the container. The design has the possibility to combine it in different ways based on the space of the wall in question and by its aesthetics is integrated into the spaces of the school, being in essence a simple and functional design.
