Mario Domínguez Soler, former student of the High Studies in Animation from the Escola d’Art i Superior de Disseny d’Alcoi, has been selected to present his project Toby, el chico ardilla, made as an integrated project of this cycle, in the Incubator space of the 22nd edition of Animac, the International Animated Film Festival of Catalonia, which will take place in Lleida between February the 22nd and 25th.
Specifically, it will be on Thursday the 22nd, when Domínguez will present his proposal tutored again by Juan Carlos Concha, who already served as a guide when our former student was selected to participate in the presentation sessions of the Festival Prime the Animation!, organized by the Universitat Politècnica de València.
In this showcase, the project Toby, el chico ardilla will be valued by Carlos Biern (BRB International and president of the Animation Federation, Diboos), Òscar Sarramia (creator and producer of television series and illustrator), Floex (clarinetist, composer, producer and multimedia artist from Prague) and two associate producers.

In addition, it should be noted that a group of students from our school will participate in this show, which in this edition is dedicated to music and it will be inaugurated with the international premiere of the Japanese production Animation for the Four Seasons of Vivaldi, a film animated conformed by four short films made by great independent animators and live music by the Julià Carbonell Symphony Orchestra of Terres de Lleida.
