Last Wednesday, March 22th, Francesc Rifé, one of the ten best interior designers in the world, gave a lecture at the Escola d’Art i Superior de Disseny d’Alcoi in which he presented several of his projects which also served to define himself; in other words, he became honest with the students, making them at the same time participants of his professional experience that places him alongside large multinational companies.
In the afternoon, a workshop was held for the students in which the redesign of a space was carried out, as well as the entire process, from drawing to theorizing about the project; as well as a public presentation of each of the proposals, where Rifé made clarifications in order the students to take advantage of these tips and learn how to improve their ideas. This was a unique experience that allowed all attendees to design together with one of the best interior designers on an international level.
In addition, Francesc Rifé is now part of EASDAlcoi, since he is an associate professor at the centre, so he will regularly hold workshops, presentations, etc. In order the students to benefit from the know-how and experience of this great professional.
To the interior design department it is a great satisfaction to have the regular collaboration of Rifé, who is also at the top Barcelona School of Design and Engineering (ELISAVA). In addition, the speaker informed the staff of EASDAlcoi that he perfectly knows the Alcoian school because of the different competitions it has won. He also considers it the second most prestigious school in Spain, that is why he is the first interested in becoming part of it.
