The Graphic Design 2nd, 3rd and 4th year form students together with Applied Illustration made from Wednesday 27th November to Sunday 1st December a formative stay in Seville on the occasion the OFFF celebration a creative culture festival that was held in the city.
On Wednesday they visited the School of Art of Seville and could see all its facilities, sets and studios by the head of the Graphic Design department. They also participated in a collaborative photo shoot. In the afternoon made tourism in sites such as ‘las Setas’ and other emblematic buildings.
On Thursday they attended Los Tipejos studio specialized in gastronomic graphic design. They showed students their way of working, strategies to get customers and their latest projects with gourmet restaurants and cuisine products. They also went to LAB Sevilla a coworking and “cultural center where design, art and technology coexist with educational activities in turn to visual culture”.
From Friday they were already fully in the OFFF Sevilla that for three days offered workshops, talks and meetings with prominent names of communication and graphic design such as Mucho, Velvet Spectrum, Sopa or Marta Cerdà, among others. They also had time to visit two exhibitions located in the Caixaforumum (where OFFF was held): ‘Poética de la emoción’ and ‘Faraon. El Rey de Egipto‘.
