Inma Saurina highlighed the illusion and effort as the keys to creativity

Last Thursday, February 28th, at the Assembly Hall of the Escola d’Art i Superior de Disseny d’Alcoi (EASDAlcoi) Inma Saurina, a haute couture designer, held a conference. She is a former student of our school and completed her training in Fashion Design at the prestigious ESMOD Paris School.

From here began a long and intense professional experience that has focused, above all, on the genre of haute couture, creating her own company. Likewise, she has worked in stage clothing taking care of the costumes of important musicals such as Willy Fog. In addition, her activity as haute couture designer has led her to participate in exhibitions and parades of her collections in Paris, with the French designer Jean Luc Amsler.

At this conference, Inma showed us all her formative and professional trajectory in the difficult world of fashion, and transmitted to us her experience, which defines her as a fighter and tireless worker.

To our students, it was very important to receive by first hand the chronicle of a professional and self-made couture and to listen to her advice in which she encourages them to never admit the no as an answer, not to admit the feeling of impotence, not to accept sinking in the face of difficulties. Instead of that, she recommend always maintaining the illusion and a high level of work, insisting on the research and creativity to achieve personal goals and illusions, those ones that seem to be a far dream, in the student stage.
