Next Friday, November the 24th, at 11 am at the assembly hall, Josep Albert Mestre, of the Escola d’Art i Superior of Disseny Gràfic d’Alcoi we will be pleased of having Ivan Castro who will present his book The ABC of lettering, published by Campgràfic, editorial that will be represented by its manager, Jose Luis Montesinos, who will also attend to the event.
Castro, who was already in our centre before holding a workshop, will now come to present his latest publication. This teacher and graphic designer specialized in calligraphy, lettering and typography, had already published this book in English The ABC of Custom Lettering: A Practical Guide to Drawing Letters with the editorial Korero Press, but now helped by Campgrafic they have made their version into Spanish, which we will be shown.

This book is useful to enter to the world of drawn letters, since among these pages you will find a great variety of letter styles, teaching methods, as well as galleries, exercises and projects to practice the lettering.
In addition, it should be noted that the publisher, Campgràfic, has put in value topics such as calligraphy, lettering or typography, since there are very few publications devoted exclusively to these issues, because most of the editions are only in English.
