On December 15, the assembly hall of the Escola d’Art i Superior de Disseny d’Alcoi (EASD Alcoi) hosted the delivery of the sixteenth edition of the Tutto Piccolo Design Awards corresponding to the school year 2015-16. The first prize to the best design for children’s fashion, endowed with 500 €, has been for Eugènia Jiménez with the Windmill collection; the second one with 200 € was to Diana Patricia Imbachi with the Tribal Camp collection and the honourable mention was to Pablo Carbonell with the Kalliste collection.
The presentation and delivery of the prizes was carried out by the director of the company Tutto Piccolo, Mercedes Mataix; the director of EASD Alcoi, Eduard Corbí and by the Fashion Department teacher, Diana Gómez, who has been coordinating the project with the students.
Collaboration program
Since 2000, the company Tutto Piccolo has been developing a collaboration program with EASD Alcoi with the aim of bringing students closer to the professional reality of children’s fashion sector.
This close and prolonged collaboration between Tutto Piccolo and the Fashion Department of the School makes possible to take professional implications of fashion design with the incentive for students to expand their training and knowledge in the development of their future profession.
With this collaboration agreement, Tutto Piccolo wanted to motivate the emerging talents of our school who are being prepared to join the professional world, betting for them as the best tool to the future of today’s markets.
