The 4th and 3rd Product Design students have started a project of collaboration in the field of design with ACTIU, an office furniture company located in Castalla. For this reason last week they visited their offices and facilities to know their warehouses, logistics, some production processes and their showroom, among others.
Later, students presented some of their design proposals to ACTIU Project Managers. The next step will be to carry out a workshop between students and members of this department to continue improving those ideas.
National Packaging and Packaging Sustainability Awards
In addition, also this past week, Jesús Pérez, director of the Innovation in Packaging Cluster, gave a talk to inform and solve questions to the Product students around the XI edition of the National Awards of Design and Sustainability.
Pérez explained to them the importance of promoting these concepts within the link between the educational and business world and how these awards are essential for that purpose.
