The students of the 2nd Cycle of Fashion Styling and the students of the 3rd Degree in Fashion of the Escola d’Art i Superior de Disseny d’Alcoi (EASDAlcoi) were able to visit in November the study of the prestigious designer Reyes Hellín, located in an old mansion in the street of San Vicente at Sevilla, where he gave them a master class.
On that day the students learned the protocol of how to wear a hat, a headdress or a pamela hat, according to the occasion and the appropriate styling for each woman, in other words, to know what is the appropriate complement depending on the shape of the face, hairstyle, height of neck, height, etc. In addition, they had the opportunity to try on their hats and headdresses and take photos with them.
To know how important is the prestige of Reyes Hellín is good to know that she is an intimate friend of the renowned hatter Philip Treacy who crowns the heads of the most important women attending the well known horse race in Ascot, England, including the ones from the British royal family. It could be said that Hellín is like a kind of delegation of Treacy in Spain, because she is the one who exclusively sells its designs.

Regarding her beginnings in this world, she says that although she was attracted by the hats world, she came into it by chance: “One day I brought one that I liked very much, just to show it, and it flew; I brought two more pieces to decorate the store, I did not want to get rid of them because I liked them a lot, but I ended up selling them. Then I brought seven more, and from these I began to receive orders. ”
