On October 24th, IVAM CADA hosted the prize-giving of the Design Awards sixth edition organized by EASDAlcoi together with the Alcoià-Comtat Regional Association of Textile Entrepreneurs (ACETEX).
The awards and collaboration between the two entities began in 2013 with the aim of creating bridges whitin the training field and a business sector like is textiles, with so much strength in these regions.
Each contest call revolves around a specific area and this year has been the Textile Illustration applied to a hotel room. The first prize of 600 euros has been for Veronica Llin and her proposal ‘Nerve of Nature’. The second of 400 euros, has been taken by the project ‘Lumix Pardinus’ by Kathy Peñafiel.
The ACETEX president, José Martínez, and also CEO of Textiles Jover, SL, was responsible for giving these awards. All the students of Applied Enlightenment 4th year form also attended the event.
