Next Wednesday, February the 28th, and on Thursday, March the 1st, from 4pm to 7pm, in the Escola d’Art i Superior de Disseny d’Alcoi we will offer a digital Manufacturing Workshop open to anyone who is interested in discovering new digital manufacturing technologies and experimenting with techniques of creation of last generation objects. With this initiative, the Master of Parametric Design and Digital Manufacturing that we will impart in our school will be announced.
The workshop will have a limit of 15 members, better from the field of interior, product and fashion design.It will start with a theoretical introduction to the parametric design, to continue making a practical exercise predefined by the manipulation from each of the above mentioned specialties. In this workshop we will also work from scratch on a design to finish printing the model in 3D. Finally, there will be an exercise in which will be learnt how to make an object cut with a laser machine from the same original sketch.
This training will be taught by the professors Francesc Lluc Sempere José and Santiago Ros Ruiz. The price will be 15 euros for material and at the end of the workshop you will receive a certificate of attendance.
